Hot Wheels Ultra Hots Loop Madness Vehicle Playset

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a fantastic toy for the two boys aged 8 and 6. The 8 year old was able to put it together himself following the directions. Pros: fun toy to experiment with, cons can be tricky to get the car through, you can't slam your hand down to get it to work well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Hot Wheels Track Set is pretty cool. It's lightweight and easy to assemble and disassemble if for some reason you wanted to travel with it. It doesn't have a lot of pieces either so that helps. My 3-year old boy is Hot Wheels crazy so he was itching to get it open the moment je saw the orange hot wheels logo. It was easy to assemble with the standard click-in Hot-Wheels track without needing any of those little blue connecting pieces. There are NO stickers to apply - which was awesome as mine are always crooked and he then rips them off later. This item comes with its own very shiny car. It's a little lighter than some of his other Hot Wheels cars which we discovered was important. If your car is too heavy, it doesn't get enough speed, it seems, to get through the loops. Our kiddo is a little small so he tries his hardest but usually doesn't succeed in getting the cars to fully loop yet. That does not stop his enthusiasm. This toy track and cars all get picked up and flown around the living room as "pirate ships" before being returned to race track duty. Highly recommended if you like Hot Wheels gear. If your child is older than mine he'd probably be better at operating the launching mechanism.
