From Firm to Extra Firm
Extra firm is correct and that is what we wanted after a firm mattress not providing good support after a couple years. Of course, we will have to wait and see how it holds up. The construction says more support in the middle and that is what I need. For comfort we have a basic bed topper and heavy matters cover with some softness. That has worked well for both a heavier and lighter weight person. Great side support and solid construction.

I love this King mattress set!!!! It is 'extremely' firm and that is exactly what I want, and need!! I am absolutely thrilled; I tried to duplicate the firmness of the Queen mattress I've had for years by purchasing another Beautyrest mattress, and while I was a bit nervous about not feeling and touching the mattress prior to purchase, this mattress did not disappoint. With a platform style bed, you don't really 'need' the box springs, but I do like being up high, so I like having them. A++

We love this truly extra firm but very comfortable mattress set. I was afraid it would be too firm for me however, it is not the case. I am having the best sleep of my adult life and I am 70 yrs old. No motion transfer either. We love it. Highly recommend.
