For the price I paid, this unit is definitely worth the money. It is compact and light weight, and arrives with all the necessary cables. The main cable has a USB connection on one end and a printer connection on the other. It also comes with a power cord with a USB connector on one end and a power adapter tip on the other. The power cord may be used if the operation of the unit seems slow or erratic. I just use it all the time. The instructions, which are written in micro-type and some form of broken English. are still easy to follow. The instructions advise that you not use a USB hub or extension cord. Part of that is absolutely true. I plugged mine into my USB hub, and got nothing. So I had to plug it directly into my laptop, and it works just fine. The cord they give you is very short, and when I used it, it wasted up a lot of desk space. I happened to find a cord from an old printer, and decided to give it a try. It will work with a longer cord. Also, I had reason to contact the seller NICHEGEEK. Their customer service is excellent. They responded promptly and politely, and were very helpful.
