Great for smoothies
I use this to make smoothies and it works great. I add the ice in after the yogurt and fruit and that seems to be the key. The ice gets crushed and the resulting smoothie is well blended without any bits of ice.

Great Value For The Price
I bought this blender as a backup to my Oster Pro 1200 model that recently became inoperable due to a broken motor chuck. While waiting for a replacement from Oster, I purchased this Dual Action model to use in the meantime. While it is lower in wattage compared to the Pro 1200, it does a very good job at pulverizing seeds, carrots, kale as well as frozen fruit. I even made homemade ice cream using canned coconut milk and frozen strawberries. It was delicious!! I am happily surprised at how well it performs! This blender is a very good value for the price. Highly recommended!
