Brought on line, so always a bit apprehensive about the actual size and color. Even though it is a lab grown ruby, color could be pinker or oranger than my ideal ruby red. I also brought the same company's (Gem Stone King) ruby earrings. So looking for them all to match, which they did. The ruby was a real red color that I was looking for. The actual ruby stone is a generous size at 14 mm tall by 10 mm wide. The pendant chain is 18 inches which works well for me. But the clasp oval attaching jump ring is rather small for grasping and getting the clasp on the first try. Note: if giving as a gift. It does come in a sturdy jewelry box in a plastic bag inside. You must assemble the pendant to the chain and attach it to the jewelry box insert for a sentimental gift presentation.
