warm and comfortable but strange sizing

I always wear size 9 and my foot is slightly narrow. The size 9 in plaid as WAY too small, even without a sock. The size 10 in brown suede was too long and too wide. The size 10 in plaid was equally long but narrower which fit me better. I wanted slippers that I can wear a thick sock with so these are good. Overall they are comfortable and warm and look cute on, even in size 10.
