The appearance of the watchbands was fine. However, the pins supplied to place on the watch head kept coming loose. This defect was due to the built-in spring-loaded levers in the pins themselves. While this feature may facilitate installation, the same mechanism allowed for disengagement by simple contact with the skin in the wrist. Perhaps one of the springs was weaker than it should have been. To rectify the problem, the pins from the original watchband that had worn and broken were used instead of those supplied with the new band.
