Very Pretty in Purple and Good Value
Rainbow High makes beautiful swim dolls. I had bought Ruby and Skyler and loved their hair, swimsuits, and makeup. Violet is very pretty. I like her straight hairstyle that is a little more slicked back wet style than her usual do. The wrap may be too small to easily make all the designs they show but I like its stretchy shiny material, perfect for the beach. She doesn't have as much articulation in her wrists, elbows, thighs, and knees as previous RH dolls but I like how smooth the knees and arms look. But the swim dolls' movement is more limited without the articulation. I didn't put them in water but they are supposed to be swim (more water-friendly) dolls. The main issue I have with Violet and other Rainbow High dolls is that their eye makeup is often uneven with the lower eyeliner being heavier on one side. For me, it can be hard to overlook this as the face is such an important place to look at them. But overall, I am very pleased with the swim dolls and they are very pretty and represent a good value.
