As a teacher...

As a teacher, I never wore a Teacher Sweater. As an older person, I do, and I love them. They fit perfectly, look wonderful; and, wash and wear beautifully. They take the chill away, without making a person hot. I wash them in a cool water, normal wash with scant liquid soap; and, then hang dry. They are colorfast, but you should still wash lights, and darks, separately. I have red, white, blue, and black sweaters so far, and they are all maufactured exactly the same, and true to size. I really love these button down, light-weight, knit sweaters that ring of simple elegance, respectability; and, "better side of casual." I expect these to last some time; but, of course, handwashing will centainly extend the wear. Best wishes!
