Can't speak for the durability since I haven't washed yet. Not using as a throw, but using for makeshift curtains to cover drafty bedroom windows. A previous homeowner left flimsy and poorly installed rods that I didn't want to have to replace. I needed something lightweight yet warm, (not to mention thrifty), and these fit the bill. A bit too long, so I folded the top over six or eight inches with the pom poms showing, attached to the rod with clip rings, and it looks like a valance! Def. oversized and def. not a three dollar throw.

No matter many times it's washed it doesn't lose its vibrant color, it was exactly as pictured and it's so soft . I am going to purchase 3 more in other color for my other kiddos
