I'm very pleased with the

I'm very pleased with the quality and features of this power station. All functions worked flawlessly out of the box. I will be installing a transfer switch for my furnace so that this station will be able to power it during any winter outages. My only lack of enthusiasm lies with the 400 watt solar panels that I purchased bundled with the station. I've tested them a couple of times and have only been able to generate about 150 watts of power. Hoping for better in the future….

More confident in weathering the storms.

After numerous power outages during hurricanes, in Florida, I wanted a more reliable plan. The Solix f2000 is a great powerhouse and with the expansion battery we can now run our large (and power hungry) upright freezer and our large side by side LG fridge for at least 14hr (or more) so we can keep everything running overnight and then run and recharge with the dual fuel generator during the daytime. We also now have enough solar panels to recharge the F2000 and our F800 if needed. I just ordered another F2000 (with the sale) to make sure we have the power and that I can help my neighbor when her power goes out and we have to wait to power up our generator (we plug her in to ours). The F3000 sounds devine but is just too heavy for us seniors. We are very happy with the F2000. We can also use them in our travel trailer and try some boondocking! I feel so much better for the “next” Ian, Idalia or Milton that we are as prepared as we can be (without the continuous expense of a house generator).
