The solid wood quality is exactly what we were looking for. Beach houses get beat up and this table not only looks good but it will with stand renters and kids a like. Overall, I liked the style and stars of this table. Very well-made only reason I didn't write it higher is the packaging. It comes in is not protective enough to prevent damage upon delivery. Since it is heavy well-made wood, it is very heavy for one person to deliver, and it undergoes a lot of damage. We had to get a replacement and that one had minor damage, but our first one was heavily damaged.
