Quest Switchback 8-Person Cross Vent Dome Tent

After trying out the Quest Switchback 8 Person Cross Vent Dome Tent, I can say that I was not disappointed. I have recently been shopping for a new tent and am highly satisfied with this choice. The original box did a great job at displaying exactly what to expect from the tent. I could tell from the photos and information on the box that this was going to be a great tent. My high expectations were all the more higher after I was able to put the tent to good use. The Quest Switchback 8 Person Cross Vent Dome Tent was packed inside the box neatly, it was easy to set up, easy to take down, and made my camping experience very enjoyable. Like I said earlier, the tent box has a great appearance and gives all the information about what the tent is. The tent was packed into the box very well and was very easy to unpack from the original box. The set process was very easy. The directions are very detailed and are sewn inside of the tent carrying bag. I thought that was a brilliant way to always be sure you don't lose your original directions, which can be very easily done over time. Once I unpacked and separated each individual item, I was all ready pretty confident that I could put up tent without the need for instructions. I did however end up using the instructions the first time putting up the tent so I wouldn't miss any details. In all, it took myself and one other person about 15 total minutes to set up and stake down the tent. Once I was done using the tent, the process of taking it down and putting it away was just as easy or easier as it was setting it up. The tent was very enjoyable while I was using it. It has so much room!!! It would be great with 2 or 3 people and having a ton of space for supplies, etc. And it would be great having up to 8 people using the tent. The tent has a great color, ample floor and head space, and seem to be made with quality products. Overall, I was highly satisfied with the Quest Switchback 8 Person Cross Vent Dome Tent. I would highly recommend this tent to everyone. Anybody from a small (2 or 3) group size to a larger group could really enjoy camping in this tent. I look forward to having many more outings using my new Quest Switchback 8 Person Cross Vent Dome Tent.

The Quest Switchback 8-person tent was super easy to set up and so roomy! I took my new tent to Ft. Pickens in Florida for the Thanksgiving weekend. It was chilly outside, so I set up the rain flap as well to cut down on breezes. The tent was pretty easy to set up. My only complaint with the tent's construction was the joints on the main tent poles. The joints use metal connectors that are just too big and get caught in the tent easily, so it takes some shimmying to get the tent poles through the support loops. But, it still took only about ten minutes to get set up. The tent is HUGE! We fit a queen size air mattress and all of our gear inside. It could easily have fit even more gear. Even better: we could stand up in the middle of the tent! Light and easily packed away, when stored it isn't much bigger than my 4-person tent. It was a great piece of equipment for gorgeous weekend away!
