I would recommend watching the YouTube reviews at receipt, one year, and three year (They are all pretty good. Everything is as advertised. Haven't had it on the water yet but running with muffs and hose it runs fine. I have a 15 hp Johnson from 1985 that I brought new. It has made many trips to Lake O'Sullivan, Canada in the spring and many hours on Lake Huron near Sebewaing, Mi. Only problems in 40 years was one broken recoil start spring, clean the carburetor every couple years and 3 water pump impellers. If this new outboard is just half as good, it will be great.

Seller was great but product was misleading. Product states its a 12 hp but actually its a tohatsu m9.8 clone. Second quality is not their at all. Very disappointing engine run 15 minutes then shuts off. Not worth your time or aggravation. Buy johnson, evinrude.
