Melissa & Doug 4-in-1 Pets Peg Puzzle

At first I thought this puzzle would be too easy for my kids, but it's the right amount of challenge. We talk about the parts of the animals and front/back, top/bottom. Not so thrilled with the quality--knicks and scratches annoy me when it's brand new.

This is a great puzzle for toddlers who need more of a challenge than single shape puzzles provide. The picture is brightly printed beneath each animal to help establish which piece goes where. It is difficult to find this type of puzzle and I bought all the styles Melissa and Doug offered. My not yet two year old grandson loves these puzzles.
