Nice set; unfortunately the red key on the xylophone was dead. I called and they said they would send a new one, waiting on proof (video & serial number from very busy parents). I would purchase again.

Wanna bang on the drum all day

I recommend this set, but not the recorder

This is a nice creative toy set to use at home to extend the activities from our child's preschool music class. My only complaint is that the recorder was not drilled well and could not produce the full range of notes, otherwise I would have given a 5-star review.

Poor quality

Melissa and Doug items seem to be decreasing in quality lately. A lot of the pieces had rough / splintered edges. The paint on the kazoo didn't even match up with the engraved “buttons”. Lastly, the plastic was still in tact but the recorder slot was empty and it was not included in the package. Definitely returning.
