I found that these run large. I originally order a M based off the size chart, They were way too big so I returned them for the S. Even the small are big but I can make them work. I'm 5'7" and 147 lbs and normally wear a M/L. The material is slightly heavier than I would like for summer wear but very good quality.

Like them but they do run large

I like the style of these but my personal preference is that I wish they rode a little higher in the waist. The material is a bit heavier than I'd like for summer wear, but I'm hoping with wear and washing they will soften up. I dinged a star because they definitely run large, especially in the waist. I returned the first order (M) because they were way too big and the second order (S) are also a bit big in the waist so I wear a belt with them ( I don't like having to mess with the strings in the waist band but that's an option for others). The length on the small is perfect. I am 5'7" and 147lbs with the typical middle aged "mom muffin". I normally wear a medium or a size 8 jeans (or 6 in the Ridgecut brand).
