Superior synthetic brushes!

I've been a big fan of the Oasis brushes since I initially tried the quills, and I'm equally happy with the performance of my latest purchases - a selection of various size rounds, as well as a travel round, and a mottler. These brushes handle beautifully, hold a lot of water and pigment, and point very well. I think this synthetic filament is amazing - it is sometimes hard to remember that it is synthetic! I have found it to be the next best option to natural sable, and it is far more affordable. Now, having said all that- science is never going to be able to 100% duplicate the qualities of natural kolinsky sable hair. There's just something inherent in natural hair that will always be superior - especially for use with watercolors. But since the cost of quality sable brushes is really prohibitive these days, I'm just as happy to purchase an Oasis brushes when I need to add to my "toolkit."
