Socks are just as adorable in person as online. They fit the 12 year old they were purchased for fine, but I judge they would fit up to shoe size 9 for an adult woman, maybe 10, due to stretchiness. I tried a pair on and they fit my size 7-1/2 feet very well. They do feel and wear as if they are mostly cotton. Only flaw is the mess of threads on the inside of the socks; I do not know enough about textile manufacturing to judge whether that is due to complex colors, pattern and textures used and thus unfixable, or just from taking some sloppy shortcuts in weaving the patterns; either way I deducted a star for it. You have to be a little careful putting them on so as not to snag a toe or nail in the loose interior threads, but the socks are comfortable once on and just adorable. They are a huge hit as a little gift and I am very glad I bought them. The bunnies and marigolds are the big fave so far, lol. No idea how well they will hold up, but worth buying for the happiness they engendered.
