Overall, this fire bowl seems to be built quite well. however, when the gas tech. came by to hook it up, he tried to unscrew the two acorn nuts that hold the burner plate down, he could not get the nuts to turn. It appears that the threaded rod that the nuts are secured to is bent so the plate can't be removed without a great deal of trouble. Otherwise, the table is very nice. There is a large opening in the bottom of the bowl so it seems like it would be relatively easy to plumb to household gas line.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sturdy, concrete 38” propane fire pit. Nice dark grey color. As you would imagine, it is very heavy, so plan on a minimum of 2 people to move. We got part way through the yard and had to roll it at the end with 2 people. It comes with a moving strap with handles for 2-4 people. May want to consider a professional to move and hook up the gas, which we have realized we'll need to do. It comes with what I originally thought was a really nice cover, but after just having it a few days, the stitching is coming out and there is a hole. I live in a rainy city, so it's important to have a cover that can withstand thunderstorms, so I don't think this is it. Overall, this is a great looking fire pit if you're able to have it professionally moved and installed. If not, it's hard to justify the price tag.
