I wanted a bedspread. I didn't want a quilt or comforter but bedspreads are hard to find. I washed the spread before using. There was a LOT of lint in the dryer,but the bedspread was beautiful. It is wide enough that it doesn't need a bed skirt. It is long enough to pull it over the pillows and tuck it under the front of the pillows. I have no complaints. I feel I got what I wanted at a decent price.
