The Hanes Briefs and Boxer Briefs my son has worn since he was out of diapers have always held up; elastic intact; fabric survived mud and sandbox and sliding down poles and slides; used instead of swim trunks in a pinch. I expect nothing less of these through middle school athletics; he grows out of them before they wear out.
