The specimen transport bag comes with a large red-and-black biohazard icon to signify special handling requirements. It also has an outer pouch for patient paperwork pertaining to the sample. Storage instructions with checkboxes printed on the bags allow users to indicate how to handle the specimen. The nonsterile biohazard specimen bag is intended for single use only to avoid cross-contamination.
