Its stainless-steel body has been molded to perfection with sophisticated curves, while its durable chrome finish conceals scratches and fits into any vintage or modern kitchen.

- Place the COLUMBIA on a flat surface, hold the handle firmly, and pull the plunger up and out of the carafe.
- Add one rounded teaspoon or one Bodum scoop of coarsely ground coffee for each cup/4oz water.
- Pour hot water into the carafe (about 92-96ºC) leaving a minimum of 2.5cm/1inch at the top, and stir with a plastic or wooden spoon.
- Place the plunger unit on top of the pot and turn the lid so the pour spout is closed to retain the heat.
- Leave four minutes to brew, then hold the handle firmly and slowly lower the plunger. Turn the lid to open the pour spout and pour your delicious cup of joe.

We LOVE this Press Pot so much that this is our 2nd one for our seasonal home. We now enjoy great coffee at either home! Our 1st pot we purchased maybe 15 years ago or more and it's still awesome! beautiful machine, great coffee, but not perfect
I've been using this Bodum french press for over a year now. I bought it because I wanted a "grown-up" french press, that looked stunning and had a double enclosure so the coffee would stay hot for a long time. For these 2 qualities, the Bodum delivers. It is beautiful, and it keeps your coffee hot for hours. That said, it takes up a lot of cabinet space and is a pain to clean (like all french presses!). The double enclosure eats up a lot of space, so you'll get 2 very large mugs of coffee or 4 regular mugs of coffee.
