Bought this to take with us for camping. I could not have been more happy with it! We bought the No. 2 filters for it and measured the same about I usually use for a 4 cup drip maker at home. You have to feed it water over a few minutes, but that was to be expected. My biggest fear was that it was going to collapse when filling, but it had no issues staying standing. Use the same amount of water you use on a home 4 cup drip maker, and you may want to mark your camping pot in advance. I was able to avoid a lot of more expensive options using this. It and the filters was the extent of what was needed, other than the pot and stove we always bring, so it substantially reduced the bulk of the stuff needed.
