Walmart lost my return

I returned this item to the Walmart store to be packed and shipped. They gave me a receipt that I dropped it off. Walmart threw the lens in a box with no packing material and threw the box in a shopping cart in front of me. The lens has gone missing and was never shipped. I am disputing this with the card issuer and Walmart since the item is lost, and I have proof I dropped it at the Walmart store as the email instructed me.
