G5 Gator Fusion Blades for 42" Sears Craftsman 138971 138498

This is a good quality blade but works best with side discharge for my lawn tractor. I like to mulch my grass and these blades have too much lift for my 24 hp Craftsman lawn tractor and I noticed a lot of grass clippings flying up from under the deck while I was cutting the grass. I had grass clippings all over me when I finished mowing the lawn. The Craftsman Advanced Mulching blades worked better with my lawn mower and the Arnolds Extreme Mulching blades work best with little to no blow up from under the deck while mulching. I have a stamped deck and not a fabricated one so it may just be my deck design that doesn't handle the extra lift well. This is just something to think about and I wish I had known this before spending the money on these blades. When I compared the G5 blade to the other two I mentioned, I noticed the gator teeth at the top were angled in a different direction which would cause a different swirl pattern. I'm not attempting to explain the engineering but I think this is what's causing the blow up on my lawn tractor. Perhaps on a different deck design you may get a different result.
