Not for higher performance vehicles

These are probably fine for use on mild cams or replacement for stock lifters. If you have something with a real aggressive cam all it takes is one red line and you can snap those lifters. Its happened to me twice since getting a more aggressive cam. For 40 dollars more you can get the low travel racing lifters by comp cams and it won't happen. Spend the extra 40 dollars and save yourself the head ache. The valve train on ls motors are a definite week point. - I have a 99 Camaro that makes 420 rwhp for reference

Very poor packaging

I purchased a new set and was surprised that the lifters were delivered in an open box. Not only was it open but not sealed up for delivery. The manufactures box was opened at the end and never taped up so when they put them in the delivery box the lifters spilled out and was floating around. I quickly looked them over but am concerned the lifters may be damaged in some way. Told my engine builder about it and he is going to inspect them closely but I am very unhappy with the delivery.

failure around 5k miles, damaged camshaft

Bought this set a little over a year ago. Took me a while to have time to install them. Drove the car around 5k miles and one failed and ruined the camshaft and I'm out around $4,000 to have work redone. Since the purchase price is over a year ago, no refund.
