Quality Construction and Usefulness
I received this item for no cost in exchange for my review of it. I am very pleased with the Oster electric carving knife. The first thing I noticed was the sturdy case that was included. The handle is easy to grip and is well balanced. The blades are easy to attach and remove and easy to clean. Finally, a fork is included which makes it easy to carve with. I would recommend this item for its usefulness and quality.

All I can say is wow to the Oster Electric Knife! I assembled the electric knife, plugged it in, and pressed start to make sure it worked. It's not as quiet as I thought it would be, but it works! The first thing I cut was a loaf of French bread. I cut the bread into 1/4 inch slices (big enough for snacks) to use with some spread I bought. The process was very easy. The result: 36 smoothly cut slices! The knife cuts very smoothly and oh so accurately! I had to laugh at myself though because my "project" of cutting the bread sounded like something from a wood shop class (minus the safety goggles). :-) Either way, this knife is really neat. The handle gets a little warm after extended use though, but I don't think it's anything to worry about. It is an electric item. The next thing I cut was a rotisserie chicken from my local grocery store. Can I just say, I love this thing! Smooth clean cutting! I even tested to see if it would cut through a piece of the leg bone, and it did! This was a smaller chicken though. I surely wouldn't try that again. I just wanted to see how strong the knife was. With it cutting through the bone like that, this tells me that any meat will have a clean smooth cut with this knife. And the work is oh so effortless!!!! And if you're wondering about how the product cleans up: a breeze! Oh, and the case helps for easy storage. I received this knife as a sample to review. :-)
