Good storage container!
This food storage container is a nice, bright orange and well built. It's solid and opens and closes easily. It's secure in holding drinks and food. My husband and I enjoy hiking in the woods near our home. We have a mama black bear with two cubs that live near our home so it's nice to be able to carry drinks and snacks without drawing in a bear with the smell of food. My husband tried it on his backpack and it fit perfectly. It wasn't overly heavy filled with drinks and snacks. We plan on using it for camping trips too.

Sorry Bears, It's Mine
The Sabre Frontiersman Bear Safe Food Storage Container is an excellent way to hike and camp with food and not worry about large furry animals sniffing you out. I really couldn't believe how much food I could actually fit in it. The plastic is hard but flexible. It also has a curvature that contours to your back and makes it very comfortable to carry in your pack. The screws were somewhat frustrating. If you don't have a screw driver or coin packed in you bag then you might get as mad as a bear trying to get the lid open. Because it's lite and waterproof we figured it could also be used when we go out on a boat. I usually use our waterproof bag to hold our food, phones and wallets but it always seems to get stomped on and thrown around. I would feel comfortable knowing all my items would stay dry in my new Frontiersman Food Storage Container.

Just as described.
This is a rather large item. So it would take up a lot of space in a pack. But it dose have quite a bit of room in it. The screws have to be taken out with a driver the first time but when closing it you can pht them back snugly with your fingers. It seems like it would work well as a minor dry box when out on the boats as well. But im not sure if the plug in the bottom will leak or not. The top has a seal.
