Works flawless

Been using it for some time now, works great, decent on the weight of holding over your head ' not bad on the tight to reach spots as well. High cycle count so can use for a long time before services.

Obsolete

I purchased the RP241 because I was told by Ridgid my lightly used 100 series press that parts where not available to repair it any longer. Then I found out the RP241 is an outdated tool also and I could run into the same problem in a few years. I'm not happy and should have purchased Milwaukee.

Everything you will Need in a Compact Package

I purchased the RP 241 (catalog number 125473). I ran over 80' of type k pipe (3/4", 1/2", and 1") with a variety of fittings such as ball valves, reducer tee fittings, in addition to replacing a new water heater. The only time I had to use a torch ws when I could not fit the tool in tight places on angles. I do not have the c1 ring set which would have made it so I would not had to have use the torch at all. If you do plumbing in any capacity, this is the tool for you! *If Ridgid would be interested in me reviewing the c1 propress ring kit, I'd be happy to do it!
