5 Led Cap Visor Light Hat Brim Head Lights Lamp Here we have a brand New 5 LED Visor Cap Light. This light weight, water resistant cap light is powered by 2 lithium coin cell batteries. Features 2 illumination modes, continuous or flashing. Attach this light to the visor of your baseball cap, or any hat with a brim and you are good to go. The light distance (outside) is about 10 to 12 feet. You can see further out than that, but the clarity isn't as good. Optimum distance is 6 feet or less. They are decent for up close type tasks like fixing a flat tire, under the hood or car, working fishing tackle, around the camp site, etc. These lights are much brighter inside a tent or house, most likely because of enclosed space. This is my go-to light source when we lose power, that's for sure. Now, I find you may want to bend up the contacts a little bit. Just a little, for better battery contact. When installing the batteries on the negative side, you want the words and + facing up. The positive side, words facing down. It's important to get that right. My main photo is my hat that I have one on and the last pic is the light on in the dark. If you look into one, you will see those familiar blue dots of blindness for a spell.
