Resident Evil Revelations (PlayStation 3)

I bought the Wii U version which I just beat on 'casual' to get used to the new Wii U controllers etc, and now I'm playing through again on normal etc. It's a challenging game that combines the cheesy dialogue and elements of old school Resident Evil gaming with more modern shooter game aspect with great success. Like most modern RE games the story is broken up into chapters that can be cleared and the player is ranked/rated on performance. There are un-lockables and tons of replay value. I just ordered this PS3 version and should get it soon. I think the game plays a bit smoother on PS3 judging by the PS3 demo so that's why I'm buying it for both systems. I'm also somewhat of a RE collector so this can't be passed up. This game is far superior to the western developed rip off Operation Raccoon City, and I'd say in some ways it's better gaming experience than RE6... maybe even RE5.

I really enjoyed this game. It actually felt like I was playing a Resident Evil game, which is something that I haven't felt since Resident Evil 4. The controls were easy to use. The cut-scenes weren't long or too frequent and you are able to skip through them if you want. I liked that you got to play 4 different people throughout the game and the stories all tied in together. It was a really fun game. The only complaint that I have is that I beat it in a day (on normal). I wish it was longer! At least you are able to start the game over with all of the weapons and upgrades that you had when you finished.
