Reliable print quality but misfeeds
I just had to replace my second Epson XP-960 (first one I was happy with; the second one was nowhere near as reliable. I had to clean the head every other time I printed something after 6 months or so even from one print to another the same day. The XP-970 has a better clean head system by the looks. The printer does misprint 4x6 Epson premium glossy paper frequently - feeds 2 at the same time and the first sheet gets 1/4” of the print and the rest is printed on the second sheet. It wastes a lot of paper. print quality is great otherwise. Price is reasonable.

I like this printer. I would have given it 5 stars if it didn't do some strange and unexplained maintenance. Occasionally, it starts some sort of operation that take several minutes, during which time it is inoperative. I'm guessing that whatever it doing is using up the expensive ink.
