check size of old wheel this one is 7 3/4"

The Maytag original blower wheel is 8" in Diameter and it fits very many different brands and has many cross reference Numbers, and one is D-106, the D-106 it is 7 3/4" this wheel I ordered is 7 3/4" dimeter, I had to return and reorder, be careful when ordering if it doesn't say 8" you may have to return it '

incorrect part but still compatible

I thought I was going to get an exact replacement of WP53-0106 but it was the slightly smaller one which is more readily available online (Y303836). I wanted the WP53-0106 because my dryer has an airflow blade in the housing to help direct air. With this slightly smaller wheel, I had to remove that blade in order to use this blower wheel. I basically paid a premium expecting an exact replacement, only to receive a cheaper-elsewhere and slightly smaller wheel.
