I changed districts where the past teacher had the kit for this modeling activity but I saw that they were missing pieces. I thought it was going to be an amazing activity to model DNA structure and replication. To say it was a major failure was an understatement. I don't know if in the past these products worked but in my recent order to replace peices it was an utter failure. The pieces did not connect and the students began getting frustrated as their hands began to hurt. We spet more time trying to actually build the model than actually discussing the process it is supposed to be representing. Midway through the lesson I just called it quits as it was not working out. I very dissapionted as I spent my own money on these missing pieces and would like a refund for this horrible product.
