These Edison strings with exposed filaments give off a warm glow reminiscent of old-world bistros. The lights are bright enough to BBQ by without a flashlight but dim enough not to overwhelm. Use vintage bistro lights for a light canopy at your wedding reception, birthday party, or other events. You can also string them straight, or wrap them in trees for unique shapes. Awesome lights. Worth the great reviews. Well built product, sturdy cord. Only drawback is the fragility of the bulbs. To retain its authenticity, real glass is used. That's why this bull in a china shop guy broke a couple. Otherwise, be careful and you'll enjoy these lights much longer than I did.

I installed these lights on my dock with a smart dimmer switch and they provide the perfect level of lighting for hanging out on the dock or pulling into the dock at night. I can dim them from 10% up to a hundred all from my phone.
