This is no armchair general or Monday morning quarterback to expose the Gold Rush myth. I was there. Rode, ate, worked (a little) side by side with the cast members of the widely acclaimed and groundbreaking Discovery television reality show. A real gold strike for the Discovery Channel in its inaugural season, it was followed by more scintillating seasons which included new cast members working on different claims.
