Gamakatsu's Barbless Octopus Hooks have a specially designed bend that allows the hook to penetrate quickly and hold, while complying with barbless regulations. As with other world famous Gamakatsu hooks, only premium grade high carbon steel is used. Next, the hooks are tempered in the most advanced process in the world to produce hooks that are strong but never brittle. Finally, they undergo a special sharpening process which results in a perfectly conical point that is unequaled in sharpness.
