I bought 5 of these terrific herb scissors, intending to keep one myself and the other four will go into the Christmas stockings of my 50 something children as all couples have at least one gardener and one cook, all enjoying homegrown food and herbs. I feel that, after using mine (I couldn't wait until Christmas) they will make it impossible for me to hold theirs until December. We enjoy using fresh basil, dill, mint and cilantro often in the summer. I do not put my herb scissors in the dishwasher and I dry the herbs after rinsing and before cutting them and the cleanup is a breeze! I love them!

It takes a lot of time to snip herbs with a knife or regular scissors. These really speed up the job! Plus they can be used on food other than herbs; for example green onions, spinach leaves, etc. The tip saver and cleaner really makes cleaning them easy.
