PENN Ally™ II Boat Conventional Rod, 6' Heavy Fishing Rod

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked the Penn Ally II Boat Conventional Casting Fishing Rod 6 feet, up to 50 Lbs, because it is very sturdy and made out of good material. The backbone is very strong and can handle heavier lifts and last for a long period of time. The assembly is fairly easy and portability is simple and easy as well. The sensitivity is well, because I could feel smaller bites much clearer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The penn ally II fishing rod is different with the pac rollers. We weren't quite sure how to use the rollers but after a few online videos we figured it out. It definitely does take some getting used to casting with such a heavy rod & with the pac rollers. It would do a lot better on the ocean in a boat to just drop your line without having to cast far, but we can see the potential it has. As we only live on lakes & rivers and mostly shore fish it was hard to cast. It is very well made and although haven't caught a fish on it yet you can tell it is very well made and could handle a big fish.
