I am a 64 year old woman, 135lbs and put this together by myself. I was surprised at the ease of getting it together. The directions are great but pay attention to the pictures carefully. This unit is beautiful. Ive had so many compliments on it. Almost all the holes are predrilled. I only had to drill for the brackets that hold the fireplace into place. Everything else went together with a screwdriver.

So far I absolutely love it, so do my kids. It's sturdy, no issues of any kind assembling it or since assembly. I highly recommend it.
