Not for bird watching or short distance viewing.

Difficult to focus, especially the higher powers. Definitely not for bird watching or short distance viewing. Might be better for star gazing. I should have bought the 10 x 50 power model. My old Tasco 10 x 50 model worked and lasted for nearly 40 years but i dropped it and it finally developed double vision.
