The Video Doorbell Wired is not compatible with the Plug-In Adapter (1st Generation). If you don&#39;t already have a doorbell, you can use our Plug-in Adapter (2nd Generation) to power your Video Doorbell Wired. It may take a few moments for the Ring Video Doorbell Wired to turn on after you install it. You&#39;ll know it&#39;s ready when it lights up and speaks to you.
