Atsko Silicone Water-Guard Aerosol

We purchased three cans of this Atsko Silicone Water-Guard Aerosol to get us all through the rest of this very wet and snowy New York Winter. Between weather-proofing our parkas, our boots, and gloves, we'll use all three cans. The product works well (which is why we buy it). It is not tacky feeling once it has dried. The downside to applying the spray water-proofer is that it needs to be in a well-ventilated area, which for us is the open back porch, and it is so incredibly cold out! Then, after spraying items, I bring them in to dry. Oh, and most importantly... the aerosol product does not or has NOT caused any discoloration when applied to the materials. The "SnoSeal" Beeswax water-proofer we sometimes use does cause a darkening of the item you're applying it to plus that gooey beeswax attracts all kinds of debris and dust so your boots (which mine are pink) look terrible. With the SnoSeal Beeswax, they turn to a really dark pink and pick up debris from everywhere. After cleaning my boots up, letting them dry well for a few days then applying this Atsko Silicone Water-Guard Aerosol, my boots look so much nicer!! Plus my feet stay dry with both products!
