This rug pad will surprise you. It instantly made my 8x10 area rug feel thick and luxurious. I didn't realize it was made for multiple surfaces. It went down perfectly on my hardwood floors. This pad is heavy and well made. Best I've seen. Buy with confidence. (I actually had to trim it back about an inch all around, but it was easy).
