BROAN 153023 ducted hood

I replaced the older model slide out hood with this one. Much better lighting design than the old incandescents. Disappointing to have to hack up and modify my existing cabinet to properly hang this one when it should have been a drop in. The old one was 18 years old and the fan and motor still worked fine but the fan/light switch was balky and the lamps had melted their lenses with no replacements available. Love the variable speed fan so you can keep the noise down when you're just simmering something. Hate the cheap filters. modified my old metal ones to use instead.
