Stromberg Carlson Repair and Replacement Parts for Stromberg Carlson Steps

The item was not the exact one depicted in the add. Two connections had to be spliced from the old unit to the new one. There was an extra lead. No instructions to explain the differences. That would have been helpful. After much consideration I took a chance cut some wires spliced it up soldered it and the step actually functioned properly. Definitely not a plug and play. The picture looked exactly like the original part However the one received was not exact. My unit was a 2003 yours maybe newer and the fit may be better but I can't tell you which year they switched.The shipping was considerably faster than stated. About two weeks earlier.
