Worst Hitch Lock I have ever Owned

I thought the extra length of this pin would be a big asset for the day I had to take a cutoff wheel to it to get it off. I never expected it to be the FIRST time I had to get it off, and when it was only a week old. This thing isn't spring loaded in either direction, so be ready to be applying pressure to a key, while you have a hand holding one end firm, and try to apply a bit of inward pressure, and twist it free. While laying on the ground. The “Cap” is horribly cheap rubber, that is nearly impossible to remove, (good thing, maybe??) unless you want to take it off to open it, then you need a screwdriver, and it will break. Just pathetic. Tonight, I could not get it to release. I pressed and jiggled, turned and wiggled, for probably close to ten minutes, before I had had too much, and took a cutoff wheel to it. This pin is one of the worst things I have ever bought, in terms of pickup/towing/tool accessories. At least it is in two pieces in my garage garbage can, and I won't fret about it anymore.
