The bowl arrived in a nice box, well packaged. It is in fact a giant bowl. It comes with extenders to set it up higher also. It says it holds 2.5 gallons of water, and appears to be sturdy enough to do the job of holding all that water. I have not tried it out yet. I found the description to be a bit unhelpful in describing the actual size of this bowl when I chose it. It is actually a bit larger than I anticipated, and I don't recall any mention about the capacity of the bowl when I chose it, but it may have said so. I haven't figured out what to use this bowl for yet, but it's larger than the space I have for my dog bowls. I've included a better picture to show the actual size of the bowl. While I did think a larger surface area would be easier for my Chihuahua to drink from, I wasn't expecting it to be big enough for her to swim in

I received a Neater Pets Elevated Giant Bowl for my Beagle. It is great for out on my deck. He hangs out there a lot with me and I needed a water bowl for him out there. This bowl is very large and holds over 2 gallons of water so I don't have to keep refilling it for him. It is elevated so it's comfortable for him to drink from it. It was very easy to put together. All you need to do is snap the legs on it for elevation or you can use it without the legs. This bowl is just what I needed for my dog to use outside!
