This is a huge food/water container. It is made of thick durable plastic. It comes with 4 extender legs. I did put these on and it adds about 3 inches of height. One of the extender legs comes loose and falls off when I pick the container up but it stays on otherwise. It doesn't effect normal function. I like that I can fill this up, put it in my deck, and not have to worry about my dogs running out of water when they are outside in the summer. It doesn't slide around, even on my wood deck. It is supposed to prevent back splash from pets drinking and as of today I don't see any water around the edge or on my deck! My dogs seem to like it too.

If you ever need a BIG water bowl or feeder, NEATER PETS has a GIANT-SIZE one for our furry friends. I received mine and was amazed. Here are some of the specs: - It is a trough for 36 cups of food or 2.25 gallons of water. Great for any large pup that still thinks it's a lap dog! The high sides do a good job of keeping food and splashes contained, but I put down a doggie placemat, just in case. - The feeder is 12 inches wide by 19 inches long and goes from 7½ to 10½ inches in height, with leg extensions. They slot into place and have rubber pads, making them skid- and tip-proof. - It's plastic, easy to wash and refill with water or food. I've been using a squeezie bottle of dishwashing detergent, and my drinking water-safe garden hose, to spray clean. It's under shade, on my patio, so it's quick and simple to wash outdoors. Did I mention it's huge? It's so big that I've decided to make it a combo food and water holder. I've added a deep metal bowl that can be bigger to fill with fresh water. Ah, it's perfect!!
